TOMORROW, Burnley Cricket Club is hosting a cricket festival between Lancashire League champions Lowerhouse and Burnley.

Under 9s, 11s, 13s, a combined Under 15s and 17s team, along with a senior team from both clubs will be playing a number of competitive matches against their rivals.

The first games will begin at noon with the Under 9s and 11s teams, and will culminate with a senior team game at 5 p.m.

Refreshments will be on sale and there will be a disco in the evening.

This promises to be a great end to the season and both Burnley and Lowerhouse Cricket Clubs, who invite everyone to come and join in the fun.

The following day, Burnley is again host to the now annual charity cricket tournament in association with Hussania Cricket Club, raising money for Pendleside Hospice and other cancer charities.

Starting at 10 a.m., this promises to be a hard-hitting day of entertainment.

Admission is £4 for adults and £2 for juniors.

Refreshments will be again available, and everyone is welcome.
