Lowerhouse and Burnley face their final games in the Lancashire League Twenty20 competition’s Pride of Pendle Group tonight, as they bid for a semi-final berth.

Burnley host Bacup at Turf Moor, while Lowerhouse are at the Horsfield to face Colne.

Group leaders Church – two points better off than Burnley and Lowerhouse – have completed their fixtures.

In the other group game, Nelson host Haslingden at Seedhill.

The top two teams in each group will advance to next Friday’s semi-finals, at venues to be confirmed.

The final will be the following Friday, July 24th, again at a venue to be confirmed.

Progression from the group could come down to net run rate if Burnley and Lowerhouse both win to tie on points with Church.

Net run rate is runs per over scored, less runs per over conceded– and both teams’ current net run rate is almost double that of Church to start with.
