A magnificent innings from Matt Marquis (83), ably supported by Jimmy Ridehalgh in a 99-run ninth wicket stand gave the locals a fighting chance, finishing 177 all out.
But the weather prevented the second innings taking place.
In the junior ranks at Lowerhouse, the Under 15 Sharks tied with Haslingden, as Max Dawson took 2-18, and Dec Stansfield (29) and Ross Birchall were among the runs.
The Dolphins lost out to Clitheroe, despite an unbeaten 50 from Jack Moodie, 22 from Tom Bridge and 3-21 from Sam Harrison.
The Under 13 Lions beat the Tigers in a club derby.
Josh Moodie top-scored with 43 not out, Dylan du Toit hit an unbeaten 20 took 2-12, while Jack Simm (26) and Josh Astley (25) were also in the runs.
The Under 13 Cougars lost to Accrington, with good performances from Georgie Holt (2-5) and du Toit (2-12).
The Under 13 Jaguars went down to Nelson, with wickets for Anna Ashworth (2-6) and Holt (2-8), but the Under 11 Bears beat Burnley, with runs from Aman Singh (26 not out), Anthony Barrett (18 not out), Yousaf Nadeem (15 not out) and Annabelle Uttley (10 not out).
Lowerhouse Under 11 Cubs lost to Nelson as Keir Greenwood took 2-12, and the Koalas beat Burnley.
