It has been a great start to the 2014/15 Rapid Recruit Burnley and District Snooker League season.

In the A Division, Paul Seldon’s unbeaten British Rail B have raced into a five-point lead over nearest Rivals Lowerhouse.

Meanwhile, in the B Division, newly-relegated Burnley Golf Club B are looking good to go straight back up with an impressive start, heading the table from Brierfield Working Men’s Club, KSC and Dickie Pinks C.

The Dickies lads, now playing from Ighten Leigh, seem to be adapting well to their new club and table.

In the Lee Owens Electrical order of merit, five players remain unbeaten in the A Division - British Rail’s Simon Blackwell is unbeaten, despite playing off a huge -50 handicap.

In the B Division, only two players have a 100% record - Burnley Golf Club’s Kim Stevens and Ighten Leigh’s veteran Ronnie Laycock.
