Two victories as Burnley RUFC enjoy successful tour to Gibraltar

Burnley Rugby Club recently returned from a successful tour to Gibraltar.

A total of 53 players, members and officials travelled to the British outpost for a short tour.

The locals played two matches, beating a Gibraltar development side 31-5 with tries from James White (3) Josh Brown, Billy Lancaster and conversions by Adam Spencer (2) and Richard Griffiths.

Then the following day, Burnley beat a Spanish invitation side in Algeciras 29-7 with tries from Spencer, Lancaster, James White, Jack Wilkinson and Chris Pickles scoring tries.

Spencer added two conversions.

One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to submarine HMS Talent, which was in port.
