Pocket Dynamo Andy “TNT” Warn completed the double by winning the BEST Centre Champions League finishing the year as the town’s number one table tennis player.
Despite a few scares and shocks along the way their was never any doubt as to where the coveted title would go.
Warn said: “The Monday table tennis is a really great way to enjoy the game in a friendly but competitive nature.
“You can see all the players are really improving so next year I predict it will prove really difficult to retain the trophies.”
In the second tier Europa League, Steve “Festival” Cochrane showed all his experience to easily take the title and promotion to the Champions League.
Danny “Flash” Scanlin also gained promotion to the big league which starts in the new year.
Most improved Player Award went to Nik “Robin Hood” Tucker who finished mid table in the Champions League despite finishing in the bottom three last season.
The Table Tennis League runs every Monday night from 7-30 p.m. onwards.
