The final of the Presidents putter at Burnley ended in a tie for first place.

Anthony Keenan (69-1 -68) and Chris Howarth (86-18-68) could not be separated.

In the July monthly medal, Division One was won by David Heyworth (70-5-65) on the card from Kim Stevens (70-5-65), and Andrew Riley (67-2-65), who had the lowest gross.

In Division Two, Phil Hanson’s 74-11-63 won, and was lowest gross), with Graeme Evans (76-10-66) second and Eugene Kirk (77-10-67) third.

Division Three was won by David Holden (82-17-65), who also had the lowest gross.

Second was Mick Quinn (84-17-67), with Neil Field (83-16-67) third.

In Division Four, Mark Corns’ 85-19-66 took first and the lowest gross, ahead of Walter Towler (89-20-69) and Dan Walsh (96-27-69).

The Ladies’ Club Team event was won by Susan Kelly’s team with 42 points from Deborah Horrocks’ team (41 points).
