Young swimmers get taste of competition

BURNLEY Aquatics Club’s younger members recently took part in the annual Shrimps Gala.

The shrimps gala is a chance for the young club swimmers to get a taste of competitive swimming.

They all showed great team spirit, with teams racing in their age groups.

Burnley had some great individual results, with all children cheering each other on.

Burnley swam alongside PIoneer 79, Chorley, Great Harwood, Preston, Accrington and Leyland.
