IT’S finals time in the Pendle Kitchens Burnley and District Snooker League again.
Last week saw the final of the team knockout.
Contesting this year’s final were Dickie Pinks and Ighten Leigh A, with the match played over two legs due to the size difference in each team’s home table.
Dickie Pinks eventually won the match 6-5, with their hero being a very solid Stuart Walker, who won the decider against Jamie Lingard.
Both teams are pictured before the match, with referee Bernard Ellis.
The doubles final was played last night between J. Bayliff and R. Brodie (+8, Burnley Snooker Club) and D. and S. Caddy (+2, Unity).
Meanwhile, we will shortly have the details of the draw for the opening stages of the 2013 Foster’s Golden Cue competition, which will appear in Express Sport.
