Burnley Bobcats swimmers competed at Macclesfield in the Satellites Level 2 Open Meet recently.
At the meet, Jamie Sharpley (13) won the the 400m freestyle, 50m freestyle, 50m butterfly and 50m backstroke events.
Colette Meade (13) won silver in the 400m freestyle and bronze in the 50m and 200m freestyle events.
William Beaven (14) entered two events, the 100m and 200m freestyle and came away with silver medals.
Meanwhile, Katie Rilett-Young (14) an S6 swimmer, who trains with the Bobcats squad, competed in the British International Disability Swimming Competition, held over four days at the Ponds Forge National pool in Sheffield, with many Paralympians in action.
It was her first international competition.
During day one, Katie swam the 100m freestyle in a great time and was just two places outside a place in the Youth Final.
On the second day, she swam a time of 6.38.03 in the 400m freestyle heat, which qualified her for the Youth Final in the evening, where she was third.
On day three, Katie qualified for the 50m freestyle Youth final, where, despite injury, she was rewarded with an even faster time than in her heat.
