The Ladies’ 4BBB Ping Qualifier at Burnley Golf Club was won by Fran Taylor and Joyce Green with 37 points.
Dedorah Horrocks and Maureen Barsons came in second on 32 points.
The Hall of Fame Cancer Charity Competition was won by David Beet on a card playoff. He scored 39 points and will now go through to a regional qualifier.
Matthew Shirt was runner up with Darren Coultard a further point behind.
All proceeds go to cancer charity and the competition was generously sponsored by the club secretary Alan Green with a prize pool of £250.
The Glen View Trophy was played over two days and 36 holes, Sam Walsh winning out with a score of 66-61- 127.
In second place was Alun Jones with 70-64-134 while third went to Matt McGuire (68-67-135).
It was 21-year-old Sam’s first major trophy.
The result also meant Alun won entry into next year’s “Trilby Tour” Regional Final where the finalists go to Portugal or Spain and appear on SKY TV in the final rounds.
The competitions is so called because the finalists wear trilby hats supplied by the sponsors ho trade from Saville Row in London.
At Whalley Golf Club, the Robert Light foot Trophy 18 hole medal was won by P. Irwin with 88-16-72.
The Division 2 winner was Stewart Andrews, shooting 93-17-75.
Whalley Ladies played a fun competition as teams of four took part in a South African Scramble .
The winners, with 189 points, were Carol Ashley, Karen Thompson , Joyce Andrew and Margaret Calvert.
