Charity book event at Burnley Rugby Club

A book launch recently took place at Burnley Rugby Club.

“The Mud the Beer and the Rugby” is a book about the “factitious” trials and tribulations of Caldervale and is written by local man John Collier with a foreword by Bill Beaumont.

All profits from the book are being raised for the RFU Injured Players Foundation which provides lifelong care to players affected by injury.

On the night Peter Hughes BEM was master of ceromonies and speakers included David Hodgson, the author and John Mackness.
