The reigning East Lancashire Table Tennis League Premier League champions Burnley Boys’ Club have made a great start to this year’s campaign.
The side have four out of four wins and lead the way as they look to bring the title back to Burnley again.
In the First Division, Brierfield first team have three wins from three games and should be capable of challenging for a promotion spot this year, whilst Brierfield B may struggle at the bottom end of the table and be involved in the fight to avoid relegation, having lost both games so far.
The lads from Adpak Aces, based in the Lomeshaye Industrial estate factory Adpak Machinery, are always competitive and play in the Second Division. They have won one out of three up to now, but are likely to be well above the relegation zone over the season.
The Third Division welcomes two new teams from Burnley this year, Best Centre and Best Centre Young Guns.
They have made a good league debut, both having recorded their first wins, and the first team have won three of four.
