FOLLOWING a very successful 2011-12 season, six Bobcats swimmers have been selected to attend training camps with The ASA England Talent Development Programme.

The swimmers attending the camps are Ella Sheridan (13), Jamie Sharpley (13), Katie Rillet-Young (14), Katie Rennolds (14), Erica Minozzi (14) and William Murray (14).

In addition, Bobcats head coach Michael Robinson has been selected to coach on the programme.

The Talent Programme selects the top swimmers in England and provides opportunities to focus on the development of skill, knowledge and training-based competencies which form part of the foundation for the long term development of performance swimmers.

The swimmers will also receive screening from a physiotherapist, strength and conditioning coach, nutritionist and phlebotomist.

Robinson said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for all the swimmers. By training with the best in the country, whilst having physiological and psychological support, they will gain the tools they need to progress onto any national or youth Olympic teams.”
