Both Burnley and Lowerhouse’s second Lancashire League fixtures of the season were washed out on Sunday.

Burnley’s game at Rishton, and defending champions Lowerhouse’s game at Enfield were rained off without a ball being bowled.

Only one game beat the weather, as Accrington beat Todmorden by five wickets at Centre Vale to go 10 points clear at the top of the table.

There was no play in the games between Church and Colne, Nelson and Ramsbottom and East Lancs and Rawtenstall, and Haslingden made 37-1 against Bacup at Bentgate with no further play possible.

The rained off matches will now be replayed on Saturday, June 1st.

• Burnley will have a DJ and karaoke on at the club from 6 p.m. on Sunday after the Burnley vs Lowerhouse game at Turf Moor. Entry is free.

Lowerhouse fans are making their way to the game via canal barge, with supporters meeting at Liverpool Road at 8 a.m. for breakfast before navigating their way to the culvert at 10-30 a.m., for a noon arrival and the short walk to the ground. On Saturday, Lowerhouse host East Lancs, and Burnley are at Todmorden.
