Hitting Championship summit only a '˜so far' story
The Clarets won 2-1 at Bolton Wanderers to leapfrog Hull City, though Middlesbrough could take over at the summit tonight if they win at Blackburn Rovers.
Dyche said:“Its enjoyable for the fans, but I’ve been in the game all my life and I know it’s a ‘so far’ story.

“Our fans were amazing again.
“They’ll enjoy it. The patience from them, the calmness, they’ve seen our team come back in games, they know how we operate, and the players will enjoy it.
“Then they recover and we’re back into work and we start planning for the next game and do all the good things we do in order to be ready again.”
Andre Gray scored both goals, ending a run of four games without scoring in style.

Hide AdThat took him to 20 for the season, and Dyche had no doubt he would soon be back on the scoresheet: “He certainly doesn’t overthink it with me, I speak to him about his game, he’s still learning and improving I feel, he’s working with the players, getting to understand his own performances and the team’s performances, even in a game when we weren’t at our best.
“You’ve seen us, Against Forest I thought we were absolutely excellent in the first half, the quality of our football, and how we didn’t win that game more easily..
“On Saturday we had to fight and play ugly and defend, but we’ve always got a threat.
“We’ve laid down a really strong mark of finding a way to score in a lot of games.

Tom Heaton had to make a key late save to preserve a point, and Dyche added: “You need big moments in games. That’s why he’s the keeper that he is.”
