Padiham FC Ladies celebrated their superb 2010-11 season at their annual awards night at the Arbories on Friday night.

Gary Mills’ unbeaten side won the Lancashire FA County Women’s Football League Division One championship, winning 10 and drawing two of their 12 games to edge out Rochdale by four points.

The awards were presented by the Mayor and Mayoress of Padiham Town Council, Bob and Ann Clark.

Following their promotion to the North West Regional Womens League, Padiham Ladies are looking for players in all positions, including goalkeeper.

There may also be an opening for a coach or player coach.
