Padiham went down to a 3-1 defeat at West Lancashire League side Longridge Town in their second pre-season warm-up game on Saturday.
The Storks fell behind to a strike from the edge of the box from Brad Carsley – a lead the hosts held until half-time.
Carsley added a second after the break, before Tom Bradley pulled one back for Padiham.
However, the hosts wrapped up the win when Carsley rounded off his hat-trick, with an assist from former Hurst Green man Rick Coar.
Padiham had opened their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 victory over Garstang on Wednesday night, with Andy Hill and Chappy Massamba on target.
Steve Wilkes’ men will now travel to Eagley on Wednesday night, kick-off 7 p.m., while on the same night another Padiham FC Xl will travel to play Mill Hill St Peters FC.
The Storks are then back on the road to take on Blackpool Rovers on Saturday, kick off 3 p.m., before hosting Curzon Ashton at the Arbories next Tuesday, August 4th.
Padiham will open their 2015/16 North West Counties Premier Division season with a home game against Bootle on Saturday, August 8th, kick-off 3 p.m., followed by a trip to Atherton Collieries on Monday, August 10th.
The Storks have been handed an away tie with Whickham in the FA Cup, which will be played on Sunday, August 16th as Whickham ground share with Wickham Cricket Club., and they are also away at Morpeth in the FA Vase on September 5th.
