PADIHAM FC Ladies are celebrating promotion after winning the Lancashire FA Women’s County League First Division title with an unbeaten record.

The Storks were promoted from the Second Division four years ago as runners-up in their third year in existence, and have gradually built a side to challenge at the higher level, last season finishing runners-up in the First Division and reaching the semi-finals of the Lancashire FA League Cup, before earning promotion to the promotion to the North West Women’s Regional League this year.

Padiham won 10 and drew two of their 12 games, leaving them seven points clear of their nearest rivals Rochdale.
