Padiham Football Club brought down the curtain on a season to remember with their end of season awards night at the Arbories.

The first team won promotion to the Northern Premier Division Evo Stik League Division One North as champions while the reserve team did the league and cup double.

First team leading scorer Ben Allen picked up the Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year awards with the Manager’s Player of the Year award going to Sam Morris.

Padiham FC Reserves’ Players Player of the Yearwas awarded to Danny Fagan whi’e the manager’s pick was Danny Haworth.

Padiham FC Under 18s finished East Lancashire Under 18s league and cup runners-up and Jack Houllier scooped their Players’ Player of the Year award. Manager’s award went to Andrew Hill. The overall Young Player of the Year went to Owen Deakin Pickard after excellent debut season with the first team.

Club Person of the Year was Connor McGowan, the Tommy Helm Memorial Cup went to manager Steve Wilkes and Albert Coward Memorial Shield was awarded to reserve team manager Chris Price.

The club is not resting on its laurels though and preparations are already well underway for the 2013-14 season.

Pre-season training starts on Thursday, June 27th, with warm-up fixtures scheduled to start in July, ending with a visit from FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic on Tuesday, August 6th.

The Storks have also announced they will have the cheapest season ticket prices in the league next year with adults tickets priced at £80 and concession tickets costing £40. Match day fees will now be £7 for adults, £4 for concessions with free admission for junior school children (accompanied by adult).
