Readstone United Under 10s won at Langho Juniors to stay top of the league.

Chances were few and far between until Pilkington went down the right wing and forced the first goal from a cross.

After the break, Readstone doubled their lead through new signing Gaffney.

Captain Barrow added a third, before Leaver netted twice in two minutes.

Barrow then nipped in front of Gaffney to get his second of the match.

The win keeps Readstone top of the league with a five-point advantage over Huncoat United.

United’s Under 12 s Yellow beat Brierfield Celtic 10-5 in a very entertaining game of football.

The goal scorers were Harry Burrows and Cade Leonard, with hat-tricks, and Joseph Holt and Ben Dinning, both with a brace. Man of the match was Nat Sanderson.
