Family fun day at Lowerhouse Junior Football Club

Lowerhouse Junior Football Club hold a family fun day on Sunday at Lockyet Avenue playing fields from noon.

Entry is free, and everyone is welcome to support the club and enjoy themselves, with attractions on the day including rides, bouncy castle, bric-a-brac, face painting, candy floss, penalty shootout, cake stalls and hot dogs and more.

Shameless’ Alice Barry will be a guest on the day, and all proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the club.

SPEEDMARK are returning again with their fun packed sports holiday club for boys and girls aged 5-12.

The popular club will again be held at Blessed Trinity’s Spirit of Sport for a total of 3 weeks of the summer holidays. Qualified coaches will be on hand, and children will get the chance to play football, athletics and multi-sports, as well as dance.

The three weeks are as follows: Week commencing July 29th, August 12th and 19th.

The days run from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and are priced at £10 per day or £40 for a full week booking.

Senior rugby training is held at Burnley RUFC each Tuesday and Thursday at the club from 7 p.m.

Annual membership fees are due - fill in a form with cash or a cheque payable to Burnley RUFC, or download and complete an electronic copy and e-mail to burnley-rugby@hotmail.co.uk
