Fullege Colts celebrate an incredible scoring feat

FULLEDGE Colts Under 15s’ Sunday side last week enjoyed an incredible 24-2 win over Barnoldswick Barons.

The Colts’ Accrington and District League Under 15s Black team beat Rishton 5-3 at the weekend, despite being down to nine men for an hour due to injuries.

A brilliant performance was lead by man of the match Jack Layfield, who scored four great goals and Kieron Gamble, who added the fifth.

The Under 9s Red lost 2-1 to Mill Hill Boys , who boast a 100% record so far this season.

A great strike from Jack Spencer brought the Colts level, but they conceded in contraversial circumstances.

Man of the match was Kai Moreland.

• READSTONE United Under 9s were beaten 6-1 by in the cup by Barnoldswick Barons.

Charlie Nowell scored the goal with Owen Jones named man of the match.

United’s Under 10s Yellow progressed to the next round of the cup with an emphatic 8-1 victory over Barnoldswick Barons. The goal scorers were Ben Dinning (4), Cade Leonard (2) and star man Harry Burrows (2).

The Under 11s Yellow were beaten 3-2 by Barnoldswick Blues in the cup with goals from man of the match Lee Wild and Lewis Taylor.

The Under 11s Blues drew 2-2 with Pendle Forest Falcons.

The goal scorers were Lewis Cairney and Adam Collison with Thomas Taylor named star man.
