Defender Kieran Trippier remains adamant that the club’s current predicament won’t ‘break’ his team-mates.
The Clarets have won just once in 14 Premier League outings, scoring a solitary goal in 819 minutes of football.
With three games remaining, starting with Hull City at the KC Stadium tomorrow, any more points dropped would confirm relegation back to the Championship.
Following defeat to West Ham at the Boleyn Ground, the 24-year-old said: “It won’t break us. We’ll just keep going and like the gaffer says move on to the next game.
“It’s disappointing but we have to move on to Hull. We don’t want to look any further ahead than that.”
Trippier added: “The mentality won’t change from the first game of the season. We know the situation that we’re in but the mentality won’t change. We know we need results.”
