Clarets striker Marvin Sordell believes the wins will come if the team carry on putting in the type of performance they did against Sunderland.

Sordell, who was making his first Premier League start for the club, said they were disappointed not to take all three points but it was something to build on.

“We put in a big shift and I think we’re disappointed to come away with a point. But again it’s another clean sheet and if we keep putting in good performances then I think they’re going to reward us at the end.”

He added: “Three cleans sheets in three games is something to build on. It’s a long season so we just want to continue to work hard and keep improving and hopefully the wins will start to come.”
