Burnley FC to trial designated smoking areas

FOLLOWING discussions with the Supporters Consultative Committee, and in response to a number of recent complaints from fans, Burnley Football Club is using the last three matches of the season as a trial period for designated smoking areas at Turf Moor.

The four designated areas, in use at half time only, are for spectators in the Jimmy McIlroy and James Hargreaves Stands only. Regrettably, at this time we cannot trial this in the Bob Lord stand.

The areas can be accessed from the following exit gates:

James Hargreaves Upper Tier NX 06

James Hargreaves Lower Tier NX 09

Jimmy McIlroy Upper Tier EX 02

Jimmy McIlroy Lower Tier EX 07

The areas will be open 10 minutes before half time and will close when the second half commences.

Signs will be displayed on all concourses indicating the designated smoking locations.

Please note it is an offence to smoke within the confines of the stadium and as a courtesy to your fellow supporters please use these smoking areas.
