CLARETS legend Andy Payton’s Finish School is back.
The former Burnley striker, who netted 82 goals for the club, including 27 to win the golden boot on the way to promotion to the First Division in 1999/2000, will be passing on his tips to youngsters from next month.
The school starts at Barden on July 6th, and will run on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for the six-seven year olds, 8-9 year olds, 10-11 year olds and 12-15 year olds.
There is also a possibility, depending on the success of the course, to run extra Saturday sessions.
There is space for 12 players at each session, and Payton said: “It is all about the art of finishing, which I think is sometimes neglected by coaches.
“We will work on headers, volleys, shots on the turn, poaching - and I guarantee we will improve everyone who comes.”
Payton also hopes to announce guest appearances over the course of the sessions.
Price will be £5 for the first couple of sessions - if booking further sessions - and £10 after, and for more details, contact Gavin Roper on 07720710325.
