Cricket season almost upon us friendly dates

The new Lancashire Cricket League season is a mere three weeks away.

Indeed, Lowerhouse are back in action a week tomorrow in their first friendly as they prepare for the new campaign.

On Saturday, April 5th, Lowerhouse host Longridge, and the following day they are at home to Great Harwood.

Saturday, April 12th sees a home game with Burley in Wharfedale, before a trip to Farnworth SC the following day.

Also on April 13th, Lowerhouse face Read seconds/thirds at home.

The club are also looking for non-Lancashire League first team opposition on April 19th.

Worsley Cup holders Burnley also have some warm-up dates – on Saturday, April 5th, Burnley host a Rib blesdale League Representative XI.

Ribblesdale Wanderers are the visitors on Saturday, April 12th, and a Lancashire Federation XI come to town the following day. Burnley seconds are at Norden on Sunday, April 13th.

The new Lancashire League season starts on Sunday, April 20th, when Burnley travel to Haslingden, and Lowerhouse host Church.
