This summer, Annabelle had trials in Malvern in Worcestershire and made the Malvern National Under 13s team as the wicket keeper, selected from players from different counties.

She also played for the National Malvern T20 squad, was selected to play in a 40-over match for the national team against an Under 19s county team and attended the Malvern Cricket Festival in August, where she was one of the leading run scorers for Lancashire over the three days.

“I love playing cricket and being wicket keeper allows me to dive all over the place, it’s fun,” said Annabelle. “My dream is to play for England.”
