Burnley’s Olympic bronze medallist Sophie Hitchon has been named among a 78-strong squad of athletes to compete at next month’s IAAF World Championships in London.

Fourth British title for hammer ace

Sophie Hitchon claimed her fourth-successive British hammer title on Saturday, to rubber-stamp her place at the IAAF World Championships in London next month.
