Victorian heritage of Padiham Road, Burnley
IF you look closely at the picture we publish today it might be possible for you to see that the makers of the card, on which the photo is based, have made a simple mistake.
Burnley in 2009 is much better than Burnley in 1950s
IF an image in this long-running series had the capacity to "take me back" this is it. You are looking at an aerial photo of part of Burnley town centre as it was just about half a century ago.
