Police in Padiham hunt teen thieves
POLICE in Padiham are hunting three teenage boys who broke into one shed and tried to break into another before being disturbed.
In the first incident, at 9-20 p.m. yesterday, the youths removed screws from a storage shed in Whitegate Close but were disturbed.
Police believe the same people are responsible for a theft in Raleigh Street, which took place between 6-30 p.m. and 11-45 p.m. yesterday.
The thieves took screws out of the hinges of a padlocked shed before stealing a blue and yellow tool box, Ryobi chop saw and Ryobi fluorescent strip light torch, worth £450.
The youths are all white and thought to be aged around 15.
The first is around 5ft. 8in. tall and was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and a dark hooded top. Police say the second suspect is of a similar size to the first and was also wearing dark clothes. The third teenager was wearing dark trousers and a beige hooded top.
