Police appeal after Padiham robbery bid

DETECTIVES are appealing for information following an alleged attempted robbery in Dryden Street, Padiham, around 10-30 p.m. last Thursday.
The victim, a 17-year-old boy, is said to have been walking from Burnley Road into Dryden Street when he was approached by a male who demanded his phone and other items. The victim was said to have been chased along Dryden Street towards Abingdon Road where he managed to escape.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone in the vicinity at the time of the incident and, in particular, would like to speak to a white man, around 6ft. tall and of stocky build, aged around 19, with a piercing to his left eye brow with a red double bar.
