A MOTHER and her family will be given some closure today when an inquest is held into her son's death.
Padiham's Mr Terry Hosker (25) died in January at a neighbour's flat in Warwick Drive, leaving his family devastated and wanting answers.

The young man was found by his mother, Mrs Gail Hosker, at the property across the road from her own in January. His inquest, to be held at Burnley Coroner's Court, was adjourned earlier this year for further tests and investigations.

An ambulance was called to the house after it was suspected Mr Hosker had taken a quantity of medication but paramedics were unable to revive him.

His aunt, Mrs Patricia Strange, said the family was looking for answers. She said: "It has been a very long and difficult time for the family. Terry's mum has found it very difficult but hopefully the inquest will answer some of our questions.

"Terry had had some problems in the past but was getting his life back on track. He had completed a stacker truck driving course and was applying for jobs.

"However, a lot of the jobs wanted further qualifications which he was a bit disheartened about. He was trying like mad to find work and was going to the gym.

"He loved cooking and animals, particularly his two dogs which he enjoyed walking. Terry's death was such a shock and there must be people who were with him when he died or just before.

"These kind of deaths are happening too often and it's so tragic. It could be another family's son next."

Born in Padiham, Mr Hosker went to school in Accrington when his family moved there. He returned to live in Padiham and got a flat in Green Lane before moving in with his mum.
