SHUTTLEWORTH College will be one of two brand new "super schools" to open tomorrow.
The site of Gawthorpe High School in Burnley Road, Padiham, has been transformed and now this 21st Century school stands in its place.

Shuttleworth College and Thomas Whitham Sixth Form, in Barden Lane, are the first to be opened as part of the ambitious £250m. Building Schools For The Future scheme, which will see all of the borough's high schools replaced with state-of-the-art facilities by 2010.
