PADIHAM looks set to receive a welcome jobs boost.
Carestaff Solutions Ltd, a recruitment agency offering temporary social work, is moving into Padiham Town Hall and could be creating 100 jobs.

It is the first business to move into the town hall after £180,000 was spent refurbishing the landmark following funding from Burnley Council and Padiham Life.

Mrs Michelle Rouine, general manager at Carestaff, said: "There's no real limit to the number of jobs we could be creating. It could be 50 or 60 or even 100. We are able to expand to meet the demand. It's the fourth branch we have opened in four years.

"We are based in the North-West but wanted to look at concentrating on East Lancashire so we thought Padiham would be the perfect place to start up.

"We provide support workers, health workers, workers for care homes and that type of thing. We help people find work but also help employers find workers."

Mayor of Padiham Coun. Mark Jinkinson said this was the start of something special for the town.
