The majority of people in the North-West do not want fracking.
It won’t make our gas any cheaper and how can injecting chemicals, possibly releasing radiation into our waterways, be a good thing?
The increase in large vehicle traffic in small rural towns would be terrible for residents, plus people who live near the sites have to put up with the constant noise dust and the smells that can come from it.
Shouldn’t we be getting away from dirty fossil fuels and invest in green technology. Seems ironic the company Cuadrilla is from France, a place where fracking is banned.
