Blessed Trinity pupil Frazer Klapproth, who will go to Burnley College next year, has been selected to go to Sweden with the Burnley College Football Academy to play in the Gothia Cup.

And although his school has helped with some of the funds, as has his parents and grandparents, Frazer has managed to raise £200 himself.

"I created a football card which my mum helped with and that has made sure I have raised enough money to go on the trip," said the 16-year-old midfielder.

"I really wanted to go as I went to the trials and was lucky enough to be selected. We go at the end of June so I had to raise the money quickly and I can't wait now."

Frazer will study sports science at Burnley College.
