Electric shocks, fire and lots of mud await a Burnley personal trainer who is preparing himself for the hardest physical challenge in the world.
Sean Williams has signed up to take part in the World’s Toughest Mudder challenge in Las Vegas in November, which sees competitors taking on 300 obstacles in 75 miles over 24 hours.
And the owner of North-West Personal Trainer, based at Business First in Liverpool Road, is already putting himself through a vigorous fitness regimen.
Former Army PT instructor Sean (24) from Blackburn said: “I did the Tough Mudder last month which was pretty hard but now I want to push myself even further.
“I’ve signed up for the World’s Toughest Mudder in America, which to be honest is pretty grim. It is more challenging than the Iron Man contest and will have people from around the world taking part.
“I completed a half marathon last year but the endurance side of this is going to be really tough.
“I will also be trying to raise money for the Help the Heroes charity.”
Sean will be competing in the World’s Toughest Mudder on November 15th.
