A huge blaze has ripped through an old timber yard in Burnley.
Around two dozen firefighters spent two hours tackling the blaze at the joinery workshop in Riding Street, just off Coal Clough Lane, after being called out at 10-30am.
Sections of the outer wall and roof collapsed as crews battled to get the fire under control.
Steve Morgan, Lancashire Fire Eastern Division’s group manager, said: “We’re unsure how the blaze started and a joint investigation has been launched between ourselves and the police.”
The bottom of Coal Clough Lane and Starkie Street remain cordoned off while firefighters clear the area.
