VIDEO: Round England charity horse rider arrives in Cliviger

A dedicated rider and his horse have reached Cliviger as part of a Round England ride, hoping to raise £250,000 for charity.

William Reddaway and Strider have been taking a break this week after completing 30 days and 600 miles of a 2,600-mile, six-month journey.

He hopes his trek will bring in funds for the Family Holiday Association, helping families at breaking point have a short holiday and an inner-London Riding For The Disabled group.

Mr Reddaway described the Cliviger countryside as “stunning” but added the hills were certainly hard work to tackle.
