The 56th annual Cliviger Flower and Handicraft Show proved to be a blooming success.
Dozens of visitors flocked to see the 244 exhibits in the show which included fruit, flowers, vegetables, arts and crafts and a range of children’s classes. The event was opened by Mrs Gladys Walsh who has been a supporter and exhibitor at the show for decades. She also presented the prizes. One of the organisers, Mrs Jean Haycock, said: “The show is always well supported and I think it is quite an achievement for it to have been held for 56 years uninterrupted.’’
Competitor James Bradley once again swept the board scoring most points in the show for his stunning vegetables and flowers.
