Two boys hospitalised following accident
Two young boys were rushed to hospital following an accident in Burnley this afternoon.
A 13-year-old boy been airlifted to hospital with head injuries after he collided with a car near Manchester Road.
An 11-year-old boy was also taken to hospital with a broken arm.
The accident happened on the junction of Manchester Road and Finsley Gate.
Police were called at 12-55pm and closed the road off.
