A MAN was rushed to hospital yesterday after suffering a suspected heart attack at the wheel and crashing his van into a signpost.

The incident, at 12-20 p.m., happened at the junction of Brunshaw Road and Arncliffe Road, opposite the Tesco Express store.

Police said they believe the 60-year-old fell ill at the wheel before losing control of the white Fiat Scudo.
