An elderly Burnley man was unhurt in a North Yorkshire road collision which left a motorcyclist dead.
The man, who was driving a silver Ford Focus, was in collision with a Ducati motorcycle along the A65 near Clapham on Saturday.
The motorcyclist, named as Simon Higgins (39) of Todmorden, was killed in the incident which happened at the junction of Station Road at 2-20pm.
The 83-year-old Burnley man was uninjured in the collision. Police are now appealing for witnesses.
