Police are appealing for information after callous vandals damaged a cross on a grave.

The ends were cut off the handmade wooden cross in Earby Cemetery sometime between Thursday, September 22nd and Friday, September 30th.

PCSO Mark Hyde said: "It goes without saying that this has caused a great deal of distress to members of the family of the deceased and I would ask anyone with any information that may lead to the offender to contact the police.

"Thank you on behalf of the family."
