People wanting answers about policing priorities will be given the chance to quiz Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw when he visits Burnley in January
The Commissioner will be taking his “How Much” campaign on the road in the New Year where he will be asking people how much they are willing to pay for the police.
Mr Grunshaw launched the campaign in late November and has been seeking people’s views on the police precept should be frozen, increased by 6p a week (2%) or by 15p a week (5%).
More than 2,000 people from all over the county have already had their say either through an online survey on the Commissioner’s website, on surveys placed in police enquiry desks and libraries or via a telephone poll undertaken by an independent research company.
Mr Grunshaw will be at Charter Walk Shopping Centre, 26 Market Promenade, on Thursday, January 15th, between 11am and 2pm.
Residents can also have their say through www.lancashire-pcc.gov.uk or by phoning 01772 533587 and asking for a survey to be sent out.
The Commissioner will present his proposals to the Police and Crime Panel at its next meeting on Monday, January 26th.
