The winner of this year’s Pendleside Hospice car raffle has been drawn.
The winning ticket and brand new Toyota Aygo belongs to J. Beckwith, who entered the draw at the hospice shop in Earby.
The raffle has helped raise in the region of £23,000 for the hospice and fund-raising manager Kaye Bartle said: “It’s one of our biggest events and it’s good because not only do we raise money for the hospice but a local person also wins a brand new car.
“We had around 23,000 entries which means we have raised round £23,000. The cost of the car is covered by the sponsors who we would like to say a big thank you to.”
The car raffle is sponsored by Santa’s, John Macadam, Burnley and Pendle Freemasons, Alderson and Horan, Hippo and Charter Walk.
