A talented little girl, who became an overnight sensation when she appeared in a national television advertising campaign for Three Mobile with a singing cat, is set to light up the small screen again.

Jolie Forrest was chosen from thousands of hopefuls to star in a new ad campaign for the car giant Hyundai and she is now on location filming in Barcelona.

The ad will be shot in various parts of the city and Jolie (seven) will be the main focus of the campaign as an excited little girl preparing to go to her first big football match with her daddy in his brand new car.

Proud mum Jodie, who works as a hair stylist at Padiham’s Vanilla salon, said: “Jolie was crying tears of joy when she heard she had got the role but she will take everything in her stride.

“It all comes naturally to her and she is really good at taking direction. She behaves really well and just thoroughly enjoys it all, we wouldn’t want her to do it if she didn’t.’’

Jolie shot to fame in 2014 when she appeared in the Three Mobile ad riding a pink bike belting out the lyrics to the 80s hits song “We Built This City” by Starship.

The advert was a sensation and went viral on the internet, sparking an avalanche of interest in Jolie who lives in Cambridge Drive with her mum, dad Adam and little sister Trixie who is two.

Jolie won her latest role through Catwalk Model Management and although she keeps her feet firmly on the ground she does love the attention from her classmates at Padiham Green Primary School.

Jolie is following in the footsteps of her uncle Andrew Derbyshire, who has been a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent, Pop Idol and is currently in the Caribbean performing his one-man show.

Jodie said: “Jolie works hard at everything she does and she just wants to make Padiham proud of her.’’
