Christmas is set to come to Padiham tomorrow with the switch-on of the town's festive lights.
Visitors to the fun-packed spectacular, in and around the town hall, will get the chance to browse an array of craft and other stalls in the ballroom from 5-30pm. There will also be a children’s fairground, carols from St Leonard’s school choir, culminating in the switch-on and fireworks display at 6-30pm.
As in previous years the crib will be dedicated by the Rev. Mark Jones, from St Leonard's Church, and the lights will be switched on by 16-year-old Lauren Shirtcliffe on behalf of her grandmother Coun. Jean Cunningham, the Mayor of Padiham.
